Permai Rainforest Resort

Permai Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort at the foot of Mount Santubong, a 5-minute walk from Sarawak Cultural Village. The resort offers a café and barbecue facilities.

Each cabin at Permai Resort is equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. En suite bathrooms come with hot shower facilities.

Guests can take a boat cruise to watch the Irawadi dolphins or participate in the Firefly Evening tour. Water sports like kayaking and snorkelling are available by the beach.

All-day dining is available at the Rainforest Café and features views of the sea. Wi-Fi is available at a fee.

Permai Rainforest Resort is a 50-minute drive from Kuching International Airport. Kuching City is a 30-minute drive away.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Persons 5 and over stay for 90 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Children up to 2 years old (inclusive) stay for 59 € per person and for the stay if they sleep in an available cot.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

Cards accepted for booking
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Barbecue facilities can be booked at a charge. (Subject to availability) Rates follow:
- Use of barbecue pit: MYR 100 per night
- Barbecue corkage charges (for guests who are bringing their own food): MYR 10 per person per night
