Niva Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. It features a wide range of water and adventure sports, as well as sunset cruises and yoga classes.

Guests can enjoy relaxing spa treatments in over-water pavilions, or hop on a Maldivian boat and watch the crew demonstrate traditional fishing methods. Resort facilities include a fitness centre, tennis court and infinity pool with the view of the beach and the ocean. Chinese speaking staff is available for assistance.

Featuring wooden ceilings and floors for a tropical atmosphere, the bungalows and villas at Velassaru have air conditioning and ceiling fans. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, international TV channels and DVD player. Some rooms also come with Nespresso machine and wine chiller. The private bathroom comes with L'Occitane bath products, beach bags and slippers.

A wide variety of international specialities are prepared at Velassaru’s 5 restaurants, including fresh contemporary sea food, Japanese, international and grill pan Indian options. The 2 beach bars serve cocktails and wines. In-villa or private island dining can also be arranged.

Niva Velassaru Maldives is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children from 2 to 11 years old stay for 88.7 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Persons 12 and over stay for 113.34 € per person per night when sleeping in an existing bed.
Children up to 1 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
Extra beds or baby cots are only available upon request and need to be confirmed by the property.
Supplements are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the reservation on the site and must be paid separately directly with the establishment.

The property can be reached by a private and a shared speedboat.

Private Speedboat Transfers:
From August 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026 the charges are as follows:
- Adult: USD 425 per boat per way, with a maximum of 6 people.
- Child: USD 425 per boat per way, with a maximum of 6 people. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally.

Shared Speedboat Transfers:
From August 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026 the charges are as follows:
- Adult (13 years and above): USD 187 per person.
- Child (2–12 years): USD 93.5 per child. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally.

Please share your flight details with the property at least 72 hours before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer. The resort will arrange for a 25-minute round trip with a speedboat transfer to the resort from Male International Airport.

The property can only be reached by a speedboat.

Please note that a Green Tax of USD 12 per child, per night is applicable additionally.

Children aged 12 years and above will be considered adults at Velassaru Maldives.

Please note that Velassaru does not allow third party transfer arrangement. Therefore, all guests are required to use the speedboat transfer service provided by the resort.

Resort will be in touch with the guest once booking is confirmed in order to proceed with payment and to provide further information guests may require. Our Proforma invoicing team will send a link of Internet Payment Gateway where you can settle the payment online. It accepts payment in USD, EUR and GBP currencies. (Major currencies are exchangeable at reception). In the event of cancelation, taxes will be charged on top of the cancelation fee.
