** In the Périgord Noir, nestled in the heart of the Vézère Valley (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), between Sarlat and Périgueux and 5 minutes by car from the village of Les Eyzies (world capital of prehistory); you will be ideally located to discover the wonders of the Dordogne.
The house, hidden in 22 hectares of forest, also houses a large natural pond fed by a stream (located 500 m below the house), which runs alongside an imposing rock shelter, typical of the landscapes of our limestone cliffs.

** The house, in the Périgourdin style, dates from the 16th century for its oldest part.
A heated outdoor swimming pool (from May to September and out of season subject to conditions) has been set up in an old open-air barn.
The accommodation has 6bedrooms for a capacity of 14 people, 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, 4 toilets, an all equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, electric juicer, blender, etc.), a dining room, a living room, a vestibule with table football, a lounge / games area upstairs, a terrace with outdoor garden table as well as a large grassy area on the esplanade in front of the house where deckchairs are installed a few steps from the swimming pool, and 2 garden furniture to enjoy the surrounding nature: lush and refreshing.

** Our house is a family home, which will welcome you in an authentic and country spirit.

** All our bedding is recent and of high quality. We have taken particular care in the choice of sheets, towels, duvets and pillows.

** The cottage has free WiFi access

** Many walks and hikes are possible from the very start of the property, as well as marked mountain bike trails.
Canoe trips on the Vézère river are offered from Les Eyzies.
The National Museum of Prehistory, the caves of Font de Gaume and Combarelles, that of Bernifal, fantastic testimonies of the past, are located a few kilometers from the cottage.
In the neighboring village, Le Bugue, you can discover the famous 1900 Village of Bournat, the Périgord Noir aquarium or the Gouffre de Proumeyssac.
You will also be close to Sarlat (30 km) and the wonderful Dordogne valley, to discover gems such as the Château de Beynac, the gardens of Marqueyssac or the Château des Milandes.
There is no shortage of ideas for visits and discoveries, do not hesitate to contact us if necessary.

** To make your stay easier: bed linen and house linen are included in the rental.
- compulsory cleaning fee 150 € (the kitchen must be left cleaned and the bins emptied)
- deposit of 500 € requested (bank imprint or cash)
- dogs accepted outside only and under conditions

For the months of July and August: weekly rental (from Saturday to Saturday)
For the months of May / June / September and October: minimum 3 nights and advantageous weekly rate.
