Pie Pasquie is a 6 bedroom 16th century manoir, formerly a gentleman's residence and hunting lodge, set within 6 acres - perfect for a family looking for peace and quiet. Tastefully refurbished yet retaining a number of its original features including the original stone staircase, oak beams and pigeonnier tower, it's been lovingly brought into the 21st century. It's set in huge grounds and a fenced and gated garden and pool area for safety...plenty of space for football, cricket and any other games you can think of. The fenced and gated inner garden area ensures your pets are safe and there's plenty of space for exercise, it's a very pet friendly property.

It's situated on the outskirts of the small village of Vares just north of Tonneins on the banks of the river Garonne in the heart of the French countryside, the area is known as a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Vares offers a local store (selling bread and newspapers), a convenience store and a bar. Tonneins hosts a large selection of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and weekly markets.

This is such a great area for fishing enthusiasts. The lake in Vares has sizeable carp, tench, perch, roach, rudd and pike. This is a 2-3 minute drive away or can be walked. The river Garonne and river Lot, within 10 and 20 minutes respectively, have large carp, black bass, pike and catfish. In fact the river Lot holds lots of records...more info can be found on the internet. You can buy a holiday fishing permit locally for around €20.

Well equipped kitchen complete with all integrated appliances including oven, hob, microwave, large American style fridge/freezer with ice maker and cold water dispenser, dishwasher and washing machine

Open plan living and dining area with a log burning stove which complements the under-floor heating, you'll also find a large dining table

Separate family bathroom with twin sinks and WC

Second floor:
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom - sleeps 4 (plus sleeps an additional 2 on a double sofa bed if required)

Bedroom 6 - double bedroom with double sofa-bed for 2 additional guests

Outside:
Poolside covered terrace with large table and chairs, large built-in charcoal BBQ - great for keeping an eye on the children!

Rectangular 8m x 5m heated swimming pool with large submerged sitting step. Please note that this new larger pool for been installed for 2022 and is different from the current photos and does not have the small jacuzzi pool, updated photos to be taken in the Spring
