The Ermitage Les Roches estate is located above the vineyards of the Roanne coast, at the entrance to the Livradois Forez Natural Park and its black woods. It is located at the extreme south of the Monts de la Madeleine.

Harriers playing in the updrafts, deer at dawn and nightfall, wild boars passing by and sometimes a hare on the way. The estate has an arboretum of more than 50 different species that we maintain as best as possible. The place is ideal to meet and reconnect with the long time and the essential things.

The house is perfectly equipped. It has been fitted out to be habitable in both summer and winter. The kitchen is recent.
A wood stove comes in reinforcement of the central heating for the pleasure of the wood fire.

Inside the house all comfort summer and winter. Central heating, wood stove, bathrooms with toilets, and voluntarily no television.

I want the guests to respect the decoration and the fittings as much as the personal objects and paintings that are in the different rooms.

Respect the garden and the basic rules of caution with water points when there are children.

I count on my hosts to leave the house in good order and cleanliness when I leave.

When you use the piano, please keep it clean both on the keyboard and on the case (fingerprints, grease, sugar etc).

It is a non-smoking place, and the house cannot accommodate animals.

Thank you for making sure there is dry wood inside next to the stove for whoever comes to stay after you. The wood supply is nearby on one of the terraces above the house.

The house is not designed to host parties but meals with family and friends are made for sharing and are therefore authorized.

Please clean the oven before leaving if you use it.

Take your bins with you when you leave, you can put them in the dumpsters at the bottom of the car park in front of the multi-service tobacconist in the town of Villemontais (obligatory passage to reach the motorway or the SNCF train station).
