La Petite Madeleine is tucked away in a quiet side street, yet only 100 meters from the bustling port of Dinan.
This quaint house, with many original features, sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

ACCOMMODATION IN DETAIL
Access to the house is via an external staircase with a ramp.

The front door leads directly to the cozy living room with dining table and kitchenette, small but well furnished and equipped.
An open fireplace provides heating in the cooler months and electric heaters are also provided. There is comfortable seating for four and a TV with UK and French channels. Wifi is available throughout the house.
The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and an electric oven. There is also a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A coffee maker is provided.
Carpeted stairs lead to the first floor and bedroom 1. Please note that the stairs are steep, a rope handrail is in place. The bedroom has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe and a sink. There is also a television in the bedroom.
The adjoining bathroom has recently been completely renovated. It consists of a shower, toilet and sink.
Bedroom 2 is on the 2nd floor. It has a double bed. The adjoining bathroom has been beautifully fitted and decorated. It is equipped with a bathtub with shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
A washing machine, a dryer and a drying rack are available in the cellar (access to the front of the house).
Please note that there is no outdoor seating area at the property. However, the port of Dinan is only 100 meters away with many bars and restaurants. La Petite Madeline is located behind the restaurant/brasserie/bar Les Roger-Bontemps.
It is also within walking distance of the old town of Dinan and its tourist sites, including the English Gardens and the castle. Hiking and biking trails leave from town, as well as canoe/kayak rentals.
There is no parking outside the property except to drop off bags or luggage. However, a subscription is available for secure parking near the property. The free bus service (Dynamo) passes and stops in front of the house. This bus service goes to the town of Dinan as well as to the Super 'U' supermarket in Lanvallay.

The old town of Dinan is a mosaic of narrow streets where time seems to stand still. The most picturesque part is the Place des Merciers where you will find the best examples of half-timbered houses in the city. Just opposite is the pedestrian rue de la Cordonnerie, also called "rue de la soif" because it has nine bars!
To get your bearings, climb the 158 steps to the top of the 40m-high Clock Tower to enjoy magnificent views over Dinan and its surroundings - on a clear day you can see as far as Mont- Saint Michel.
The 13th century castle now houses the town museum and is the best place to start a tour of the magnificent ramparts. 3 km long.
