La Boulangerie - Maisons La Boissière

Situated in the heart of the Dordogne, La Boissière was once a fortified medieval village, now it is a quiet hamlet on a hill in the Valley of Castles overlooking the Dordogne River.

This quiet rural setting is home to three charming period gites, our large, fully enclosed garden includes a fenced swimming pool with alarm and an additional shallow pool for children. (Opening mid-May and closing at the end of September)

Close to most historic towns, shops, restaurants and a myriad of activities, La Boissière is a 50-minute drive from Bergerac Airport and a 5-hour drive from Paris.

Our gîte, La Boulangerie, offers exceptional privacy, comfort, amenities and views. A spacious living room complements the upstairs bedroom where there is a king-size bed and a state-of-the-art shower room under high arched beams.

Guest access
A beautiful shared swimming pool in a secure garden and everything the Dordogne valley has to offer is on your doorstep. The swimming pool opens mid-May and closes at the end of October.

Interaction with guests
We interact as little or as much as our customers want. We are always on hand to give you advice on everything the area has to offer, help you book tables and get to the restaurant, as well as breakfast and dinner if required.

Other things to note
We have bikes available to explore our beautiful region, tennis courts nearby and canoeing on the Dordogne and Vezer Riviers on our doorstep.
