Babies welcome In a wooded park for children with its playground (gantry with swings and slide) "LA PETITE MAISON DU GARDIEN", independent, its PRIVATE and closed garden, surrounded by greenery, become a holiday destination 3 *** spends the time and still there.
In Roman times MIMIZAN was called SEGOSA. The pilgrims of SAINT-JACQUES-DE-COMPOSTELLE took one of the paths that passed in front of me. In 1903, at this strategic location of the SALIN district at the southern entrance of the village, a family from Mizzanne had the good idea to give me birth. Built according to the Landais style worker, I was an inn with its vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard, henhouse and domestic animals that produced the essential to develop a regional cuisine already feasting the first tourists: it was MIMIZAN and its many farming districts. In 1930, a wing dominated by a tower of "arcachonnais style" was built to receive the first vacationers come to discover thanks to the railways and the automobile, the beach, the air and the baths of sea: it had become the fashionable seaside resort MIMIZAN LES BAINS.
It is also another vacation rental next door, because we are two (totally independent).
Since 1987, my owner has entrusted me to friends to perpetuate this approach: "know where we come from to know where we go". They transformed me by giving me a comfort 3 *** and embellished with a large park with trees and flowers: LES HORTENSIA.
I receive new hosts every year ... And time passes but I'm still there, faithful to my village MIMIZAN PEARL OF THE COAST OF MONEY.
TODAY, at home, we like to come, come back and recommend to friends because I reserve my best welcome for a successful holiday that we remember. Generations succeed and feel at home ... my story is not over. I am a living witness of this local heritage dear to my village.
