Hiking trailsThe cottage "Le Frêne" is located in the village of Carlsbourg near Bouillon (10 min) and Sedan France (18 min).
Recognized as a "rural gite" by the "Commissariat Général au Tourisme de Belgique" (ref. No. GRLX1186).
Accommodation also affiliated with the “Fédération des Gîtes de Wallonie”.
Maximum capacity 4 people.
Housed in an old farmhouse from 1839, independent entrance, private and fenced garden and parking (garden furniture).
Baby equipment available free of charge.
Available binder with sites to visit and activities to do in the region.
Kitchen: dishwasher, electric hob, oven, microwave, electric coffee maker...
Living room: large Danish wood fire (wood offered), board games, books and comics, digital TV, DVD/Blu-Ray, free WiFi.
Two bedrooms with sink (1 large double bed 160 x 200 - 2 single beds)
Bathroom: bath/shower, sink, washing machine, etc.
On each bed: undersheets, pillows, individual duvets.
For the end of year celebrations, the cottage will be decorated and a tree will be installed.

Sports activities: kayaking and swimming (Semois and Lesse rivers), marked hikes, cross-country skiing, horse riding, adventure sports, swimming (Carlsbourg swimming pool).
Cultural activities: castles: Bouillon and Sedan, Orval Abbey, museums, Euro-Space-center, town of Dinant (Citadel, the Meuse), Grottes de Han and animal park, etc.
Summer: medieval fairs, craft markets, sound and light shows, street arts, music festivals, Libramont agricultural fair.
