Maison de charme en Provence, proche d'Avignon

“La Maison du Grand-Père” is a very pleasant, charming Provencal house, independent, located in a quiet village away from main roads and close to all amenities. It is south facing with a private enclosed and shaded garden of 700 m². Private and closed parking is reserved for your vehicle.

The village of Jonquerettes is ideally located to allow you to visit the most beautiful tourist sites in the region.
Close to Avignon, a city renowned for its heritage and its theater festival and to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, European capital of second-hand and antique dealers, a very pretty town where it is good to stroll on Sunday mornings at its market Provencal.

If you wish, we will show you beautiful walks to do in Provence as well as good tips for restaurants, local markets, cellars for tastings of Côtes du Rhône wines, etc.

For your entertainment, two golf courses (18 holes) are less than 5 km from the house.
Fans can indulge in the pleasures of canoeing on the Sorgue or rent bikes to visit the region at their own pace.
For children and also for adults a water park is located in Monteux (about 10 km). On the same site is also the SPIROU park.

You can also enjoy a pleasant garden with trees to read a good novel in the shade of the plane tree or bask in the Provence sun.
Your meals can be taken in the garden or under the covered terrace. We provide you with tables, garden chairs, deck chairs, garden furniture and a mobile barbecue.

The house is labeled "3 keys" by CLÉVACANCES and classified as "3 stars" furnished tourist accommodation.
Its surface area is approximately 90 m² of living space with a floor. It is very comfortable and furnished with authentic antique furniture. Its thick walls bring a welcome coolness in summer.
The ground floor consists of an entrance hall with a beautiful stone staircase leading to the first floor, a living room with comfortable sofas, a dining room with fully equipped kitchen area, a water, a separate toilet and a large room to store your bikes or motorcycles.
Upstairs are a large south-facing bedroom with a 160cm double bed, a second bedroom with two 90cm single beds and a bathroom with WC.
