Loft de charme "La Rose Désirée" au Moulin de Lamy

Our rental, La ROSE DÉSIRÉE, is a 50 m² loft with a mezzanine. We have just completed the restoration of a building which was the oven of the hamlet, which also includes a wheat mill, an old cabinetmaking sawmill in the process of being restored, a living quarters where we live year-round, a small house which corresponded to the old stable and hayloft, which is also inhabited all year round.

We have a beautiful park at the edge of the water where you can relax, deck chairs and benches await you to read or take a walk or watch your children play on the porch in the middle of the chirping of birds, the gentle runoff of stream, Le Courtebu. Children like to play there and make mini barrages.

We have set up a small football field to play with your children.

The Hamlet is on the edge of woods mainly of chestnut trees which are cultivated. Some belong to us, you can collect chestnuts for your personal consumption at will. This hamlet, hamlet of Françoise's ancestors, the Moulin de Lamy, also included a flour mill and a sawmill: The stream made the mills turn thanks to hydraulic energy in the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
The place is charming, invites you to walk, to daydream, it is an immersion in nature.
Many activities are possible: swimming in lakes and rivers in summer, in the municipal swimming pool too, hiking, cycling, horse riding, tennis, quad biking.

A welcome book is at your disposal with advice, good addresses for activities, nearby tourist sites, the best swimming spots but also unusual sites and major sites such as LA GROTTE CHAUVET, LES SOURCES DE LA LOIRE and LE SAFARI DE PEAUGRES .

There are also excellent restaurants nearby and an associative cinema with excellent programming.

The accommodation is brand new with fitted kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, hair dryer, television, radio, internet, wood-burning fireplace for the off-seasons, electric heating; a quality convertible sofa allows an additional bed for 2 people if necessary. A small staircase climbs to the mezzanine where the attic bedrooms are located, opening directly onto the living room (glass body guard).

We can lend you games for children, board games, hiking guides.

We are in love and respectful of nature; we have a vegetable garden, a flower garden and a lovely park by the stream.
