Located in the heart of the Vendée bocage, the Château de Bourneau property will enchant you with its calm and its proximity to nature. Our gîtes, La Forêt and Le Parc are two adjoining gîtes located in the outbuildings of the castle. They are separate and independent, but a door between their garden will give you access from one to the other. The large volumes of living spaces will allow you to meet up with your loved ones. Easily accessible, our property is ideal for organizing reunions with your loved ones.

ABOUT LE PARC COTTAGE

As its name suggests, Le Parc overlooks the grounds of the Château de Bourneau and its flowery meadow. These are the old stables of the property and the building has retained some of these architectural elements. Each of the four bedrooms has an independent bathroom. Its private swimming pool without vis-à-vis will allow you to take full advantage of the mild climate of the Vendée. Its large dining room opens directly onto the garden with the swimming pool, a shaded terrace, the barbecue and a table tennis table. The large kitchen also opens directly onto the garden, ideal for outdoor dining. The living room hosts the TV corner and a fireplace for your moments of relaxation. This gite can accommodate six adults and two children in the sloping bedroom.

ABOUT THE GITE DE LA FORÊT

La Forêt originally housed the castle's bread oven and has retained its character with its exposed beams and open fireplace. The main house can accommodate six people in three bedrooms and the annex located in the garden offers four additional beds. The house and the annex come together around the garden and its private swimming pool. The ground floor of the main house hosts the living rooms with the dining area, the TV lounge and its large open fireplace. The kitchen, adjacent to the dining room, has direct access to the garden, ideal for outdoor dining. Upstairs, two bedrooms with two single beds share a bathroom and a large bedroom with a double bed has a private bathroom. The ground floor annex has two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed, which share a bathroom. Each room has direct access to the garden.
