The village of Cenan being located 2km from La Puye (bakery, tobacco shop, leisure center) and 12km from Chauvigny where all the shops and amenities are located (eLeclerc, Intermarché, Lidl, Mc Do, cinema, etc.) it is more only recommended to be transported to fully enjoy your stay.
The closest TGV station is Futuroscope, but Chatellerault and Poitiers are also close, take a taxi to reach the gîtes.

A few minutes from everything by car, Cenan is a charming village of around forty houses at the foot of the St Hilaire church, the high place and parish of the Acadians of Poitou.
Here almost no traffic, sometimes a small tractor, the calm and the birds singing, the dark night and myriads of stars like you have perhaps never seen before, the lights completely going out at 10 p.m., a little haven of peace in fact...

On Thursdays around 3-4 p.m. the cheesemaker comes to the square in front of the gîte and offers you her goat's cheeses produced in the town.
On Wednesdays, the mobile grocery store also comes to the square if you need basic necessities.
