The Domaine de la Lavanche is a former cellar of the Carthusians of the Abbey of Arvières dating from the 13th century on 13 hectares of hillside formerly under vines.
Located at an altitude of 400 meters, in a position admirably well chosen by the monks, on the side of a sunny hill, from where a superb point of view.
On the road to the Col du Grand Colombier, stage of the Tour de France, the ski slopes of the Retord plateau and also close to the rivers, bodies of water and lakes of Bugey as well as Lac du Bourget.

Gite Arvières: named after a wild stream in Valromey, this accommodation of 110 m² for 8 to 10 people on one level with the bedrooms upstairs with central heating.

On the ground floor: fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 4-burner gas hob, electric fryer, coffee maker, toaster, food processor, crockery and cutlery for 10 people. The living room with a 2-seater sofa bed, armchairs, large wood-burning fireplace (logs provided), wooden staircase leading to the bedrooms. The bathroom with 1 large shower, sink, bidet, wc. The pantry-laundry room with sink, washing machine, shower cubicle and wc.
