Located at the gates of Bordeaux and Entre-Deux-Mers, in an old hamlet 10 minutes from the city center (8 minutes from Saint-Jean train station, 20 minutes from the airport, this 4-bedroom house , wooden, restored, with terrace and small garden, in a rural hamlet enjoys a privileged location to ensure peace and a change of scenery.
The surrounding paths and walks will allow you, if you wish, to access on foot (20 min) to the bus stop which takes you to the Pont de Pierre in 15 min (tramway to the city center, city river shuttle to sail on the Garonne and access the Cité du Vin).
The house is organized on 2 levels around a terrace and a small 100 m² garden, it is accessed by the communal square (carport at the door of the house, 1 other car possible on the plot). Ground floor: entrance, living room, fitted kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine), WC. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms with double beds (3 single beds possible), cot, bathroom with WC.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 are in a row and constitute the family suite, with a view of the garden.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 are closer to the bathroom with toilet, with a view of the very quiet square.
This house can be suitable for a couple or any family or group of 2 to 8 people
(up to 10 according to our prior agreement, by preparing the mezzanine with 2 beds overlooking the convertible bed in bedroom 3).

"Hébergement agréable et bien placé"
Nous avons résidé dans cet hébergement pour les fêtes de fin. Logement agréable proche de départ de sentiers pour marcher ou courir dans les vignobles autour.
Les échanges avec nos hôtes étaient fluides , il faut signaler qu il y a place de stationnement pour 2 véhicules.

"Paisible et propre, près de Bordeaux"
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos 3 ados. Possibilité de promenades en partant à pied de la maison, et très facile de se rendre à Bordeaux par tram depuis le parc-relais. Merci à M Delbecq pour les informations sur quoi visiter et comment s’y rendre.

"Séjour agréable et accueil chaleureux"
Le logement est très agréable à vivre et la maison présente un certain charme. La proximité de la rocade nous a permis de découvrir les attraits de Bordeaux tout en profitant de ce lieu retiré, calme et reposant. Merci à Mr et Mme Delbecq pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur attention toute particulière à l'égard de notre fille souffrant d'un méchant coup de soleil ! Dans l'attente d'un prochain séjour dans le Bordelais pour découvrir, cette fois-ci, votre maison d'hôtes Cabane-Blanche...

"Madame, Monsieur, merci !"
Nous avons passé plus d'un mois dans le gîte "Le damier", car notre maison située à quelques kilomètres était en travaux. Notre séjour s'est bien passé et l'équipement complet du gîte, nous a fait sentir presque comme chez nous. La proximité de la rocade a raccourci les temps de trajet de nos emplois respectifs. Le cadre bucolique de ce lieu permet de se détendre et la terrasse située sur l'arrière du bâtiment et qui donne sur un petit écrin de verdure est vraiment très agréable. Je recommande cet endroit pour un court ou long séjour.

"Un très joli week-end"
Nous avons passé un très bon week-end end en famille. La maison est décorée avec goût et tout y est bien pensé et fonctionnel. Les propriétaires sont charmants et réactifs. Je recommande ce gîte les yeux fermés.

Donc très satisfait pour vous et pour nous puisque les 4 chambres ont bien convenues pour 8 personnes. En attendant de vous revoir, peut-être aussi dans notre maison d'hôtes Cabane-Blanche à Baurech de plus grande capacité (jusqu'à 13 personnes pour les vacances).
