Located in the heart of the Vendée bocage, the Château de Bourneau property will enchant you with its calm and its proximity to nature. Easily accessible, our property is ideal for organizing reunions with your loved ones.

The Manor was originally the delivery of the Château de Bourneau estate and it remains his most impressive home. The beautiful wisteria that climbs its facade gives it a traditional French farmhouse charm and is perfect for alfresco summer dining. It has a private enclosed garden with no vis-à-vis, with its own swimming pool, a barbecue and a ping-pong table.

THE HOUSE

The Manor lives up to its name since it sits proudly at the entrance to the Château de Bourneau estate, directly opposite the château. Its very spacious rooms and living spaces will comfortably accommodate large groups for all occasions. The ground floor houses a large open living and dining room with direct access to a reading and games room.

The kitchen has direct access to the garden, which is perfect for preparing your meals outdoors and allowing you to enjoy the climate of the second sunniest region of France!

A double bedroom with its en-suite bathroom completes the ground floor and will provide privacy and easier access for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs. The other bedrooms are all located upstairs, where you will find three more bathrooms.

Outside, the garden, with its herb garden and charming original well, provides the perfect spot for sunbathing around your private swimming pool.

We are lucky to be close to the Mervent forest, the beautiful town of Fontenay le Comte, 20 minutes from the Poitevin marshes, 45 minutes from Puy du Fou and 1hr from La Rochelle.
