Le Gîte du Phare, vue sur mer

Located in the quiet and picturesque hamlet of Hourdel, on the edge of the Bay of Somme, the gîte "Le Phare" immerses you in an authentically maritime atmosphere.
This small fishing port, as if out of time, planted between sky and sea on the Pointe du Hourdel to the south of the bay, faces the Marquenterre ornithological park which is home to a very wide variety of birds and constitutes a privileged place for observation of local fauna and flora.

The site is in fact renowned for being home, all year round, to a colony of seals which lounge on the sandbanks at low tide, which can be observed from the lodge.
