Welcome to VILLE HELLO - A beautiful detached 4 bedroom property with a lovely garden. The house is located in a small hamlet in the commune of GUILLAC in rural southern Brittany. NANTES-BREST, ideal for walking or cycling along the towpath, is not far from the property. Try the short walk/bike to medieval Josselin and visit the magnificent castle.
Accommodating up to 9 people over 2 floors, Ville Hello has 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite to the bedrooms. The village of GUILLAC is 6 km from the property and has a bakery. Ideal for your morning bread and pastries! For larger towns with bars, restaurants and cafes, JOSSELIN and PLOERMEL are a short drive away.
THE PROPERTY IN DETAIL:
From the front door you enter a small hall with an inner door leading to the KITCHEN/dining room. The kitchen has a gas hob and separate built-in electric oven (large and small), with a microwave above, the well-equipped kitchen also has a washing machine, dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer, a coffee maker and an electric kettle. There is a large farmhouse style table and chairs, a high chair and a TV.
At the end of the kitchen area is a door leading to the GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM (double) which has an en-suite bathroom with shower with grab rail, sink and toilet. Particularly useful for customers with mobility issues.
From the dining room there are double glass doors and a step to the LIVING ROOM; with a sofa and comfortable chairs. Here there is another TV. The double glazed doors lead to the outside terrace which is a real sun trap!
FIRST FLOOR:
From the living room, stairs lead to the hallway and to the MASTER BEDROOM (double), being an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over, sink and toilet. Further on is BEDROOM 3 (double) and BEDROOM 4 (3 single beds). Please note that bedrooms 3 and 4 share the shower room, toilet and sink ('Jack and Jill style').
OUTSIDE:
The terrace of the lounge area is a real sun trap, pleasant for breakfast, and to relax around your aperitifs in the evening, perfect! The terrace leads to the flat garden which is fenced with established bushes. A rose archway leads to a lawn area for badminton and other games. There is parking for 2 cars to the front of the property, the front door is to the side accessed via wooden gates.

A well behaved dog may be permitted, please request when booking. No dogs on beds or sofas/chairs, owners must tidy up in the garden after the dog etc.

JOSSELIN - A very popular location, home to a perfectly preserved stunningly beautiful chateau which is a medieval fortress and is still inhabited by the Duke and Duchess of Rohan. This magnificent castle has just been ranked (2017) 3rd best castle in France! This is a must along with the Castle Dolls Museum which is open to visitors from April to October, there are tours in English every day during the summer.
July 14, Bastille Day, a very important date in French history which fixes the storming of the Bastille in 1789. It has become a major public holiday. with many celebrations throughout France, Josselin is no exception and organizes a Medieval Festival every 2 years, (reenactment of medieval times) in the cobbled streets with its medieval half-timbered houses, this will happen again in 2020 , it's amazing to see, where the whole city dresses up in period costumes, with flamethrowers, artists, stalls, restaurants, bars, fireworks and more, a very good weekend not to be missed!
LA GACILLY (34 min) - A very pretty town, the home of Yves Rocher (cosmetics & perfumes) where the family still lives. There are fields of wild flowers around the city which are used to make perfumes in their factory, they also have a boutique, a spa hotel, and a vegetarian restaurant, very rare in France!
