La Maison du Chêne, beautiful, spacious large house

A beautiful house to use as a base to explore Normandy. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for the many meals we prepared and enjoyed al fresco many days. The beds were so comfortable and the blackout curtains were a very welcomed treat.

Only an hour away from Mon St Michel which was an excellent day trip for our little group and 30 mins away from Granville which is an excellent beach town with many cute shops and things to see. It is also a short walking distance away from the town of Percy where there is a large supermarket for all your needed supplies and of course a boulangerie for the daily croissants and pain au chocolats.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a French country side retreat in a comfortable home with lots of space to relax and enjoy.

Myself and a group of friends / kids spent an amazing week at this lovely property. Hard to sum up how great it was for all ages in only a few words. Absolutely beautiful house tucked away in the French countryside, but within walking distance to a quaint town with all the essentials (delicious bakery and small shops), also 5mins drive to a big supermarket.

You're also very close to multiple cute French towns, which have a farmers market on alternate days. Slightly further afield, but within 30mins are the stunning Mont St Michel and Granville on the coast.

The nearby Abbey Hambye was a great little find and much more impressive than I'd first expected, would definitely recommend a visit.

The house itself had multiple en suites and nicely decorated rooms. We made the most of the fully stocked kitchen eating outside most evenings on the two huge tables. A full complement of wine and champagne glasses made for many happy evenings!

A wonderful house with everything we needed for us to have a great time with our friends and 2 year old daughter. The house was spotless, spacious and we had the best time.
