Our character cottages, whose privacy is preserved, are independent of each other within the property.
They perfectly combine the charm of old houses and modern comfort in an exceptional setting of calm and greenery.

Please send us a request email: indication of the gîte and desired dates (please check availability beforehand), number of people (adults and children under age, to respect the capacity of the gîte).

A rental contract will be established after booking confirmation.

THE DOMAIN

Our Estate, more commonly called the Château de Foncène by the ancients, is located in the town of Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, in the Dordogne department and in the heart of the Périgord Noir.

Our Estate is an 18th century stone property, typical of the region, located in the heart of its 25 hectares of meadows and forests.
The Estate is made up of a Manor and several outbuildings, as well as a large swimming pool in a wooded and green setting.
The configuration of the domain allows beautiful walks by taking our alleys which historically served the domain (allée des Chênes, allée des Marronniers).

For nature lovers, our woods and meadows are ACCA classified where hunting is prohibited, which allows wildlife to be preserved and great encounters with deer, roe deer, fawns, etc.
On the estate are our two donkeys, Rose and Lilac, whose curiosity and delicacy delight children.

You can enjoy the 12 x 6 m swimming pool with pleasant beaches located in the wooded and flowery park of the Manoir
Our swimming pool is open from June 1 to September 30, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in July/August, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in June/September.

Near Sarlat and Domme, exceptional medieval cities, you will also be close to other remarkable sites such as La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Castelnaud, exceptional cities and cultural and tourist centers. You will be able to visit castles, caves, medieval towns and villages, famous local markets, exceptional gardens, night shows and participate in various activities: swimming, canoeing, Gabare walk, fishing, hiking trail, air sports, tennis, horse riding , tree climbing, hot air balloon ride, …
