Our tranquil farmhouse property was an old tobacco barn once upon a time.
The main house is an open plan house with 5 bedrooms on the ground floor with large kitchen, dining area and living room.
The house has three bathrooms including ensuite.
It boasts a separate pigeonnaire on the property which is a self-contained with one double bedroom with ensuite upstairs with sitting room and kitchen downstairs.
This is fully air conditioned and has its own utility area and its own garden and easy access to the swimming pool.
The main house is set in a secure garden with large swimming pool, BBQ, table tennis, and large sun loungers, seating and large outside dining table.
Their is ample free car parking at the front of the house.
The nearest village of Lauzan is approximately 4 km away with bars, restaurants, cafes, small supermarket, boulangerie and Post Office.
The Bastille town of Eymet is only 10 km away with weekly markets and lovely restaurants.
Bergerac airport and centre are 35 minutes away.
Close amenities include bike hire, horse riding and golf.

"Great stay, lovely house"
We loved our visit here. The house is wonderful with everything you could need. The pool is fabulous and it’s in such a lovely, peaceful area. Highly recommended!

"Beautiful holiday house"
This is the most beautiful countryside house with a fantastic location for wandering locally through woodland and fields and zipping round to the local towns for canard de confit! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here; the pool was an absolute luxury, the huge bedrooms, kitchen and dining space were a welcome relief from the sun, and the outdoor seating (plus BBQ!) had us all relaxing in the morning sun with a coffee or lounging by the pool with a G&T. Everything was clean, tidy and well equipped for self catering and the hosts were really helpful providing directions and recommendations for places to explore. I cannot rate it enough, thank you so much!

"The most amazing place!"
I had the most magical time at La Maison de Canard! First, the house in absolutely stunning and had everything we could have wanted - comfy beds, TV and movies, a huge pool, BBQ, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, the list goes on. Second, the house is in a secluded area meaning I felt safe and happy to spend lots of time outside without being disturbed by anyone. Finally, the location of the house is only a short drive to lots of great places such as Amet (great market there too), meaning we had a great balance of relaxing and exploring. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
