In the heart of the Causses du Quercy and Black Triangle Regional Natural Park dear to astronomers, this old barn from 1846 has just been restored on a 4 ha property of oaks, acacias and junipers.
Between Cahors and Figeac, 3 km from the prehistoric caves of Pech Merle and 8 km from the medieval village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Sauliac ecomuseum, towpath and descent by barge on the Lot or by canoe on the Célé within a radius 10 km and… around Rocamadour and the Padirac chasm.
The 85 m² gîte, comfortable and well appointed, is 100 m from the owners' house but independent with private parking. Its two rooms, half-cut into the rock, remain cool in summer and temperate in winter. This small farmhouse of 4 houses remains calm and quiet.
A heated 11 x 4 m flat-bottomed salt swimming pool, open from May to September depending on weather conditions, secured by a sliding polycarbonate shelter on a rail.
Upstairs: an open kitchen area with induction hob, hood, built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, a living space with a commanding view of the Célé valley, sofa, armchairs, Scandinavian style tables, TV, good 4G connection. It is private and reserved for guests of the gîte and the owners.
