Old stone barn renovated into a charming loft-style gîte, very comfortable and functional, for 2 people, air-conditioned, with a terrace and breathtaking views of the Cathar castle of Peyrepertuse, in a preserved village in the Corbières mountains, Aude.
Mix of stones, wood and contemporary style.
4G Connexion. No WIFI.
Very well placed to visit the Cathar country. Ideal for hiking on foot or by bike.
Bathing area 5 min walk, the river flows at the foot of the village and allows you to swim in a very beautiful natural setting, opposite the Cathar castle of Peyrepertuse.
A little further, swim in authentic and natural settings at the Cascades (Gorges du Verdouble) of Duilhac sous Peyrepertuse (10 min by car) and Padern (15 min by car).
Possibility of canyoning and swimming in the Gorges de Galamus (15 min by car).

The ground floor (35 m²) : a large living room, loft type with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room with a sofa, as well as a bathroom travertine marble with a bathtub and heated towel rail.
Upstairs, a large air-conditioned bedroom (20 m²) with a 160 cm bed and good quality bedding, with a picture window that opens onto a stone terrace, facing south (15 m²). The terrace has a very nice view of the castle of Peyrepertuse.

From the A9 motorway, Perpignan Nord, (45 mins drive):
Exit on the A9, exit 41, exit Perpignan-center, Canet Roussillon, Le Barcares, Rivesaltes.
At the roundabout, take the first exit on your right, direction Rivesaltes, Estagel, Foix by the D.12, then the D.18.
In Espira de l'Agly, take the D117, on the right, direction Estagel, Maury.
In Maury, turn right towards Quéribus castle, Cucugnan then left towards Duilhac sous Peyrepertuse, then Rouffiac des Corbières.
On arrival in the village, turn right and walk along the church to the old inn of the three Cathars. Rue Le Carairou is on the left just before the hostel. The cottage is located in the small dead end which overlooks rue Le Carairou, at n ° 3.
You can park on your left, opposite n ° 4, av Félix.
