Cottage in Verteillac in the Dordogne

Jane and David welcome you, to their magnificent holiday cottage in the typical French village of Verteillac in the Dordogne.

A 2 bedroom gîte that can accommodate 2 to 6 people. We can also accomodate 1 additional person on a fold up bed. (Total 7 people.) Ideal for couples, families and close friends.

Prices shown are for 2 adults. Children under 16 years are free.

There is a lot to see and do in the area, or you can just relax and enjoy this beautiful part of France. Verteillac is ideally located for exploring the neighboring villages of Brantôme, Ribérac, Aubeterre-sur-Dronne and the larger towns of Angoulême and Périgueux. Just to name a few.

Set in a beautiful position overlooking open countryside, yet within a 5 minute walk of the typical French village of Verteillac. The Gite has been newly renovated to a high standard with an eclectic mix of antiques and modern collectibles, retaining its charm and character.

The space:

Combines authentic period charm with every comfort you need. You will be seduced by the ancient beams and beautiful views.

Whole cottage for rent including:

Ground floor: living room with fitted kitchen area, lounge with sofa bed
(to 2 p) The main living space has doors at each end which in turn open onto a beautiful courtyard with private terrace at one end and views to open countryside and fields at the other.

Downstairs WC.

First floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed
Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds (Possibility to accomodate 1 additional guest on a fold up bed.)

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are inter- connecting, making it ideal for
family or close friends

Bathroom with shower, wash basin, and WC.

Outside area:
Private covered terrace with table and chairs, outdoor sofa, barbecue
Additional seating to the front of property to take advantage of
views and sunset.

Access to owner’s large garden with views over the village below with various areas to relax and unwind. From the garden relax listen to the bells of the nearby church. Or chill on your own private terrace where a barbecue awaits you perfect for those long summer evenings.

the batteries.

Calm and serenity guaranteed. Idyllic setting with beautiful sunsets. Ideal for lovers of authenticity and charm, peace and tranquility.

An added bonus if you so choose... David is a Yoga teacher... Just ask and you can have a 1-1 yoga session on our designated yoga space in the garden or in our yoga studio in the barn.

We provide a welcome pack to start you on your way.
Owners live in house next door, so are on hand to help in any way.

In the gite you will find an Information pack with a suggested itinery of places to visit during your stay.
