La Belle Maison "Esparoutis

The small hamlet of Esparoutis is located in a corner of the unspoiled valley of the Ceou river.
Originally built around the 18th century, "Les Paroules" in Esparoutis is a collection of old stone houses, barns and dryers in walnut wood, typical of the region.
Extensive renovations were carried out between 2008-2012 in 2020 to transform the ancient honey-colored stone farmhouses typical of the region into a modern resort for those seeking a peaceful location in the French countryside.

In the center is "La Maison", built in 1729 in 1797, an old farmhouse with an adjoining stone barn, an open living room in the kitchen of great country cooks, stone floors in the cathedral ceilings.
The cottage, built in 1861, is located at the rear of the property. It is a village house with many original features with rustic charm.
The Early 20th Century Dryer is at the entrance to the property and is an old walnut wood kiln which has been completely refurbished in a rustic and cozy chalet style from local wood.

Each house has a sunny courtyard or private terraces and gardens overlooking the meadows and the valley.
There is a secure garden and swimming pool, sun loungers, tables and chairs for dining and a barbecue.

The prehistoric caves of Lascaux and Rouffignac and the fortified towns of Montpazier are a 30-minute drive away.
The historic town of Sarlat, the best restored medieval town in France, with its famous Saturday markets is just 12 km away.

The property is located on a popular 35 km cycle path between the village of Daglan and Castelnaud.
The village of Saint-Cybranet is a few minutes away on foot or by bike (700 m). There is an organic supermarket here which offers fresh bread and other organic foods.
Castelnaud-la-Chapelle (Castlenaud) is an excellent 2.5 km walking or cycling route along a flat cycle path and through the walnut trees on the banks of the Céou. Here you will find your daily needs, a special bakery / pastry shop, a butcher, a small simple supermarket in a news agency, a post office, an ATM, a hairdresser, a pizza, a cafe and a restaurant.
Pretty picnic spots, swimming and canoe rental on the Dordogne are just 2.5 km away at the Castelnaud bridge.
