Heated poolGîtes les Chaffauds is situated in the pretty hamlet of Les Chaffauds, only a 3 minute drive to Sainte Cécile which has a bakery, bar and other amenities. Chantonnay is less than 10 minutes away, and here you will find many restaurants, supermarkets and other attractions.
The owners have restored these old farmhouses and they are now very comfortable and well proportioned gites. There are two gites and these are rented together for up to 10 guests - so are ideal for a large family or friends who want to spend their holiday together, but have a bit more space.
Les Ammonites Gite

The living room has a TV with UK & French satellite channels, DVD player and wood burner

Kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms; one with a double bed, and two with two single beds each.
A shower room and separate WC are on this floor as well.

Cosy lounge with wood burner, TV with UK and French channels
Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine

Upstairs: A large double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds
A cot, high chair, stair gates and plastic utensils are available for younger children if required.
Please note, bed linens and towels (hand, bath & tea towels) are NOT provided with this rental. Please bring your own bed linens, towels and beach towels.
Wi-Fi access is available for both houses.
Outside, there is a large courtyard garden with a dining area and barbecue. Beyond the courtyard is the large garden, with heated pool and children's play area. The above-ground pool is 4.5m in diameter and is surrounded by sun loungers. The garden is laid to lawns and has several seating areas where you can watch the sun go down whilst sipping a glass of the local wine!
Both houses share the courtyard garden, main garden and pool. The owners live on-site and are there to offer advice during your holiday.

In the event of a cancellation prior to 8 weeks before the holiday start - only the Booking Deposit will be forfeited. Thereafter, cancellation charges will be the full rental price.
If we are able to re-let your cancelled holiday week(s), we will refund your deposit and final payment (where appropriate), however we will deduct £50 as an administration fee, plus more if we have to spend money on extra advertising or discounts to sell your cancelled dates.
We would strongly recommend that clients take out insurance at the time of booking – to cover medical, personal and cancellation charges.
