Ideally located 10-15 minutes from the Hôtel de Ville de Lyon, the Cité Internationale and the Gare de Lyon Part Dieu, and close to the motorway exits, the Villa Castel Gîte & Chambres d'hôtes welcomes you in its fully equipped independent pavilion of 80 m². In the calm of a large private property, in the heart of its 7,800 m² wooded park overlooking the Old Rhône and the Île de la Pape, the outdoor swimming pool heated in season, from a natural water temperature at 19° stable for at least 8 days, open in season from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the tennis court are accessible to guests of the gîte as well as to those residing in rooms in the 1910 house located 50 m away.

We offer visitors from outside the Guest House a half-day swimming pool package, in a time slot from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., €25 per person and €10 for children under 3 years old.

Perfect for a business trip or a visit to Beaujolais and Lyon, whose historic site has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

This carefully furnished independent house consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with sofa bed and a kitchen. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

The 1st floor consists of two charming double bedrooms, the Asian bedroom and the Romantic bedroom, which are located on the same floor as a bathroom with toilet.

On the ground floor there is a large living room with sofa bed and a kitchen; carefully furnished and equipped

50 meters from the cottage is our guest house which includes 3 large bedrooms, La-Pape Room and Suite, Florentine Room, which can comfortably accommodate 9 people.

All guests have access to the large flowered and tree-lined garden of the property, and also to the outdoor swimming pool heated in season, from a natural water temperature of 19° stable for at least 8 days, open in season from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and at the tennis court.

For the comfort and health security of guests, Villa Castel offers the possibility, in dedicated private spaces per accommodation unit, to eat on site with organic products purchased at the property, or with dishes brought from the outside.
