Hiking trails Cross-country skiingSpacious gîte (farmhouse) of 90 m² facing south classified 3 stars located in mid-mountain at 1,050 m altitude in a calm and quiet hamlet, bordered by forests in the town of HAUTERIVE-LA-FRESSE a few kilometers from the Swiss border , at the foot of the hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, horse sleigh trails.
WE ALSO HAVE A COTTAGE FOR 4 PEOPLE WITH 2 BEDROOMS of 50 m²
For alpine skiing, there are several small family resorts as well as Métabief with its 40 km of slopes.
Between Pontarlier and Morteau, the Combe d'Hauterive is the starting point for multiple excursions to the Loue Valley, Lake Saint-Point, the Château de Joux, the Saut du Doubs, the Entre-Roches Défilé, etc.
It consists of a 45 m² living room-kitchen, bathroom with shower, separate toilet, 3 bedrooms, closed garage, lawn, garden furniture, barbecue, parking.
It is fully equipped: washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer, raclette and fondue sets, television, WiFi, etc.
Also, travel cot, high chair and bathtub for little ones.
There are many activities:
- train path 4 km away, designed for cycling, roller skating, walking, etc. (total: 40 km)
- astronomical observatory on site
- Golf 3 km away
- visit to SWITZERLAND with its chocolate and its many viewpoints
- discover JURA wines (yellow wine, straw wine, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Arbois, Château-Chalon, Côtes du Jura)
- cultural visit: Ecomuseum 'L'ABEILLE DU HAUT DOUBS', HORLOGERIE DU HAUT-DOUBS museum, MONTBENOIT abbey and cloister, the PAPY GABY tuyé, the Château de JOUX, the Citadel of BESANÇON, the royal salt works of 'ARC-ET-SENANS, MONTAGNON farm museum, MAISONS COMTOISES open-air museum, SKI museum, etc.
- visit to natural sites: SAUT DU DOUBS, LAKE SAINT-POINT (4th largest natural lake in France), CRET MONNIOT at 1142 m altitude and Côte du Cerf at 1230 m with panoramic views of the Alps
You can taste our regional products: smoked sausages and ham, Comté, Morbier, Mont d’Or, Bresi, chocolate, etc.
