Our country house, an annexe of an old stable and barn, is situated in Souillac, in the heart of the Dordogne Lotoise Valley.
Souillac is the ideal base for those wishing to explore the region: centrally located, between Rocamadour, Collonges-la-Rouge and Sarlat, with many of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’ and castles, caves and parks for young and old alike all around.
The beauty of the countryside invites you to hike and cycle, many restaurants tempt you with their local produce and we offer comfortable gites, where in a friendly atmosphere you can relax by the pool, enjoy the sun and a good glass of wine.
The comfortable 2-person gite overlooks the sunny courtyard. The gite has a living room with sofa, dining area, open-plan kitchen and double bed. The toilet is in the shower room.
A shared washing machine is available.
The storage room has a tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
A cot and high chair are available on request (€11).
The gite has a private terrace with barbecue. From the terrace you have a view over the courtyard and the green valley in front of the Manoir. The swimming pool is on the other side of the building. The terrace of the Manseng gite is sunny from morning to evening.
In high season the gite is rented from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am.

"Très belle découverte"
Le gite correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes: propre, spacieux, fonctionnel,belle terrasse. Accueil très chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec la petite surprise de Marion chaque matin. Le manoir est un un très bel endroit très calme et proche de Souillac.

"Een prachtig verblijf in een rustige omgeving"
Een prachtig verblijf op het kruispunt van de Lot en de Dordogne. Marion en Jan leggen je in de watten. Ze kennen de streek op hun duimpje en staan klaar om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. We verbleven in één van de gites. Die was verbazend goed uitgerust. (Bijna) alles wat je in je keuken thuis vindt, was er aanwezig: microgolf, koffiezet, waterketel, broodrooster enz. Er lag een mandje boordevol toeristische folders en een stapeltje boeken klaar. Kortom een top verblijf in een prachtige omgeving.
Kastelen, grotten, middeleeuwse stadjes, wandelpaden... het is er allemaal. Je kan hier meerdere keren terugkomen en steeds andere stukken van de omgeving ontdekken en verkennen.
De gastheer en gastvrouw kennen de beste eetadresjes in de buurt die ze zelf uitproberen en graag delen met hun gasten.
Kastelen, grotten, middeleeuwse stadjes, wandelpaden... het is er allemaal. Je kan hier meerdere keren terugkomen en steeds andere stukken van de omgeving ontdekken en verkennen.

"Prachtig verblijf in Le Manoir te Souillac"
Opnieuw onze vakantie in september doorgebracht bij Jan en Marion in Le Manoir te Souillac. Wat een fijne ervaring. Mooie en verzorgde plek, comfortabele ruime gîte, sympathieke gastheer/vrouw die altijd voor je klaar staan en dat in een streek waar zoveel te beleven valt en waar de zon schijnt. Wat wil een mens nog meer. Wij zijn grote fan en keren heel graag nog eens terug!
