Le Cap de Gauch 2148,m est un sommet entre la Haute-Garonne et l'Ariège. Ce 15/01/22, nous l'avons gravi depuis Coulédoux Le Couéou de Boutx (chemin sur la route du col de Menté), 870m. L'effort accompli est récompensé par un panorama extraordinaire. Ça en vaut vraiment la peine ! Pour ma part, crampons, piolet en montant et raquettes au retour utilisés. Alors que mon frère a chaussé les raquettes depuis le col de piéjau sans les retirer jusqu'au retour (+ piolet pour le final + crampons dans son sac). Attention même sous le col de Piéjau vers 1300m des portions étaient bien raides et bien givrées + neige très dure par plaque. Restons prudents !
