Martine and Daniel will be happy to welcome you to "LA BERTIGNOTE", a traditional Nivernaise residence, completely renovated, in which they offer you 2 characterful accommodations, open all year round, where charm and modernity harmonize.
These 2 accommodations are completely independent; they can be booked separately or simultaneously (in this case: possibility of having meals together in "Les Oiseaux"), to spend pleasant moments with family or friends, while maintaining total privacy.
The thickness of the dividing wall between the two accommodations and the exterior design, with separation of the gardens, guarantee complete peace and quiet.
With different styles, each will bring you comfort and a warm atmosphere.
Each accommodation has its own private space for parking cars, a rack for bicycles and its enclosed garden with its terrace (garden furniture, electric barbecue).

- the accommodation “Les Oiseaux” (140 m²), with a “charming” style, has been open since April 2015; it is located in the main part of the building (3 bedrooms and a mezzanine space, 2 bathrooms). CléVacances 3-key approval.
- “La Chênaie” accommodation (80 m²), with a “chic country” style, opened in May 2016; it is located in the adjoining barn (2 bedrooms and a mezzanine area, 1 bathroom and a toilet). CléVacances 3-key approval.

In each, you will have comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living room (equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with TV and DVD player) with direct access to the enclosed garden.
Calm and relaxation await you, in the heart of the Pays Charitois, on the way to Santiago de Compostela. You will enjoy nature, culture, history or gastronomy.
The forest, the Loire, the neighboring historic cities (La Charité-sur-Loire, Nevers, Bourges, etc.), the Morvan... there is no shortage of tourist circuits to discover the rich heritage of Nièvre and the neighboring departments (Yonne, Côte d'Or, Saône et Loire, Allier, Cher, Loiret).
Sancerre, Chavignol, Pouilly-sur-Loire, Briare, Gien, Guédelon, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, Vézelay, Magny-Cours… and many other sites will pleasantly surprise you!

Ideally located, approximately 200 km from Paris, Tours, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, 50 km from Bourges, 25 km from Nevers, this place is easily accessible by car by the A6 and A77 motorways from Paris or by the national N7 from Paris, N151 from Troyes or Poitiers.
The closest station is La Charité-sur-Loire. SNCF lines: Paris-Clermont-Ferrand; Lyon-Nantes (via Nevers); Paris-Marseille.
