Gîte le Soleil

On the road to your vacation, near VULCANIA, in the Auvergne Volcanoes park, Maï and Marc USCLADE welcome you for a minimum of 2 nights or more at Gîte LE SOLEIL.

Marc, musician, and Maï, singer and painter, have made their gîte a place conducive to wonderful encounters and sharing.
Located at an altitude of 900m, at the northern tip of the Chaîne des Puys, the village of SAUTERRE benefits from an exceptional setting in the heart of unspoiled nature.

This gîte, adjoining the owners' house, has a separate entrance and a private garden with trees.

Adjoining the owners' house, the Le Soleil gîte, with a capacity of 10 people, is made up of:
• on the ground floor:
- a spacious and bright common room with large farm table and lounge area
- American kitchen equipped with traditional oven, mini oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, etc.: self-catering with kitchen use package depending on length of stay

Complete bedding in all our rooms: sheets, duvets, pillowcases
Our bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers
possibility of weekly rental

- orientation table at the top of LA ROCHE SAUTERRE (in the immediate vicinity) one of the oldest volcanoes in Auvergne and the highest point of the Combrailles. This privileged space with geological information panels (presence on this site of basalt with incrustation of OLIVINE semi-precious stone) and botanical offers you an exceptional panorama of the Chaîne des Puys, the Sancy massif and the Forez.
- GOUR DE TAZENAT (10 min away): this crater lake with its character, thanks to its legend and its crystal clear waters, offers you one of the most beautiful excursions in the region (swimming and fishing)
- family walk to L'ETANG GRAND DE PULVERIÈRES (5 mins away) developed and marked by the League for the Protection of Birds: observation posts at your disposal during the walk
