Gîte le Soleil

On the road of your holidays, near VULCANIA, in the park of Auvergne Volcanoes, Maï and Marc USCLADE welcome you for one night or more at Gîte LE SOLEIL.
Marc musician and Maï singer and painter, have made their home a place conducive to beautiful meetings and sharing.
Located 900m above sea level, at the northern tip of the Chaîne des Puys, the village of SAUTERRE enjoys an exceptional setting in the heart of unspoiled nature.

This cottage, adjoining the owners' house, has an independent entrance, a private garden with trees

Attached to the house of the owners, the cottage Le Soleil, with a capacity of 15 people, consists of:
• on the ground floor :
- a spacious and bright common room with large farm table and seating area
- American kitchen equipped with traditional oven, mini oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer ...: use in free management

Complete bedding in all our rooms: sheets, duvets, pillowcases
Our bathrooms are equipped with hairdryer

On site: small meals at the Arthé Café: tea room, theme nights

- orientation table at the top of LA ROCHE SAUTERRE (in the immediate vicinity) one of the oldest volcano in Auvergne and culminating point of the Combrailles. This privileged space with geological information panels (presence on this site of basalt with inlay of OLIVINE semi-precious stone) and botanical offers you an exceptional panorama on the Chaîne des Puys, the massif of Sancy and the Forez.
- GOUR DE TAZENAT (10 min): this lake of crater and character thanks to its legend and its crystal clear waters offers you one of the most beautiful excursions of the area (swimming and fishing)
- Family walk at the ETANG GRAND DE PULVERIÈRES (5 min) arranged and marked by the Bird Protection League: observatory stations at your disposal during the ride
