Gîte Le Petit Monge

Luxury one bedroom self catering gite, situated just 3 km north of the beautiful Bastide town of Monpazier, where you will find several excellent restaurants, two boulangerie, two small supermarkets and a variety of other interesting shops and artisans.
The setting here is secluded and private with large tropical gardens, plenty of parking and 60 acres of woodland and picnic areas to explore.
It is a haven for wildlife with regular sightings of deer, herons finches, buzzards and many other wild birds.
The gite itself is recently renovated to a high standard offering style and comfort in all rooms. There is a lovely oak framed private terrace with outside seating and dining facilities overlooking the meadow where mares and foals reside.
The pool area is completely enclosed and also overlooks the mares' pasture and forest beyond. Sun loungers and parasols are provided and there are also toilet and shower facilities adjacent to the pool, which is surrounded by palms, grasses and tropical plants.
Upon arrival you will discover a complementary welcome pack including tea and coffee, fresh bread and croissants, and of course a bottle of wine sourced from one of the local vineyards, everything you need to relax after your journey.
