Location between meadows and forests, it is situated in the Dordogne valley in the hills of Calviac, a small village 15 minutes from Sarlat or Souillac and 5 minutes from the river bank. The village has a post office, grocery store.
The log house consists of:
• the ground floor, an entrance, a lounge dining room of 37 m², kitchen with 7 m², toilet and storeroom
• upstairs are two bedrooms with closets and a bathroom with tub and toilet. A nice balcony extends the master bedroom overlooking the garden.
The house, well exposed to the south, is very bright and the sun is present from morning till night. A large garden surrounds the house, in front of it a meadow with a vegetable garden. At the rear of the house, a grove of oaks allows you to enjoy a cool shade whatsoever for meals or relaxation.
The nature lovers will be delighted with the green surroundings, proximity to outdoor activities such as canoeing, mountain biking, bike rides (in the vicinity: a bike path connecting Souillac to Sarlat), hiking, the journey zip line in the trees, or even hot air balloon ...
The followers of history and prehistory can also discover or rediscover the prehistoric sites of the Vezere Valley. The castles and villages along the Dordogne will delight you with their charm and history. Many excursions are expected!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivée. Ce gîte est très agréable, situé dans un environnement calme et bien placé pour visiter de nombreux sites. Gîte propre, spacieux et bien équipé.

Nous avons séjournés en famille dans ce gîte très sympa, au calme, bien situé pour les activités. Très accueillant nous sommes ravis. Très belle région 😊. Et si vous avez un peu de chance vous verrez peut-être le petit couple d’écureuil le matin qui jouent dans les arbres auprès du cabanon, les enfants étaient fans 😊. Nous recommandons ce gîte.

"Excellent gîte"
C'est toujours avec plaisir que nous louons ce gîte. La propriétaire fait tout pour qu'on se sente comme chez nous et qu'on passe un excellent séjour.
La région est riche de lieux à visiter et de produits du terroir à déguster. Pour certaines personnes, le petit bémol pourrait être le mauvais réseau internet.

"Un vrai plaisir"
Cadre agréable, silence reposant, très bon accueil et accompagnement (conseils pour les sorties entre autre), maison bien équipé. Le gite sur situe à proximité de nombreuses activités aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants (Paintball, accrobranche, mini golf, kayak, plages fluviales, chateaux, jardins...).
Les vacances ont été un réel plaisir auquel la qualité du gite a participé.
