Motorcyclists welcome Welcome to the Ferme des Cailloux, winemaker house from 1880 with a capacity of 5 beds + a cot.
Our cottage is located in Sassay near Contres (41700), between the Loire and the Cher, in the heart of the Renaissance Castles of the Loire Valley, at the crossroads of Sologne, Touraine and Berry, between Blois (25 km), the Beauval Zoo (20 km) and Cheverny (8 km), Chambord (20 km), Chenonceau (35 km).
With family and friends, come to the Center-Val de Loire region to relax and rest in the quiet countryside.
Equipment:
On the ground floor: a living room with flat screen TV and WiFi internet, large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 4 gas burners, electric oven, fridge 235L, freezer 70l, toaster, Senseo coffee maker, electric kettle, cookware, crockery, vacuum cleaner, table and steam generator
A bathroom and toilet, laundry with washing machine and dryer
Upstairs: two double bedrooms with beds of 1.40 m, the third bedroom with a bed of 0.90 m and a cot, shower room with a toilet.
Outside: lawn with trees, gravelled courtyard with table and parasol, sunbathing and barbecue.
Sheets and towels NOT provided. Non-smoking cottage.
Pets under 15 pounds are accepted free of charge if they are calm and clean.
Restaurant Le Bouchon in the village of Sassay, supermarket and shops 3 km in Contres.
Charming communal pond with day fishing card and recreation area. Swimming pool in Contres.
At 2:30 from PARIS and its airports by the A10, less than 1 hour from the airport TOURS by A85 and 25 minutes from the station BLOIS.
Close to the royal castles of Blois (25 km), Chambord (30 km), Amboise Castle and the Leonard de Vinci museum at Clos-Lucé are 40 minutes and Chenonceau at 30 minutes. The Château de Cheverny (8 km), its gardens, its labyrinth and its Tintin exhibition. The castle of Chaumont-sur-Loire (30 km) hosts the International Garden Festival.
Other castles of great interest like Fougères-sur-Bièvre (8 km), Beauregard (25 km), Villesavin (20 km), Selles-sur-Cher (18 km), Lassay-sur-Croisne (20 km), ...

Gites spacieux et très bien équipé pour 5 personnes. Situation idéale pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire (Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chambord, Amboise ,Blois,...), le zoo de beauval et découvrir les vins de Touraine.
La literie est top, le gîte est au calme. Super accueil de notre hôte.

"Gite très agréable"
nous avons été très bien accueillis par Cyrille qui s'est rendu disponible lorsque nous avons eu besoin de lui.
La maison est bien située, l'étang et l'aire de jeux à la sortie de Sassay ont fait la joie de notre petit fils et de nos chiens.
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce gîte confortable malgré une météo capricieuse.
Nous recommandons cette adresse, nous reviendrons.

"Un endroit parfait"
Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires que nous remercions pour leurs conseils de visites. Le gite dispose de tout le confort nécessaire et est très bien situé pour visiter les principaux sites touristiques. Nous avons vraiment passé un très bon séjour. Nous y reviendrons !

Séjour et propriétaire agréables. Petit bémol sur la propreté (ex. housse de banquette tachée, douche et meubles de cuisine pas très propres) pas de table à repasser et fer à vapeur du siècle dernier

"Gîte parfait"
Gîte très agréable pour un séjour en famille. Super bien situé, notamment pour le zoo de Beauval où nous avons passé 2 journées formidables ! Mr Ménager nous a très bien accueillis et renseignés sur les points forts de la région. Nous reviendrons !
