Since 2004 we have completely renovated a holida.y homein the picturesque village of Rodes, halfway between the Mediterranean and the high mountains with breathtaking views of the foothills of the Canigou massif and the Pyrenees.
Ideal region for walkers or hikers but also for visiting medieval villages or churches.
Less than 15 km away you are spoiled for choice between visiting Castelnou with its 12th century castle, the priory of Serrabonne, jewel of Romanesque art, the adorable village of Eus (the sunniest in France) or the small fortified town of Villefranche.
If your heart tells you to spend a day at the sea: the nearest beaches are 40 minutes drive. A little further south, a visit to Collioure, a small romantic fishing port, is essential.
Gourmets and gourmands will find their happiness in the numerous restaurants of the region which also counts starred chefs including Belesta le Château or Montner.
Rodes has its own restaurant surrounded by vineyards where, under the shade of the mulberry trees and overlooking the Canigou, you can taste the local cuisine.
The wines of the region are famous, as well as the products of local producers and we will be happy to guide you in your choice of visits, excursions or walks.
