The LAY is one of the 2 rivers of Vendée, with the LIFE, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean offering numerous routes for walking, cycling or canoeing.
We are away from the D137, between Chantonnay to the north and Sainte-Hermine to the south.
Our accommodation is ideally located for touring around hiking activities (GR), bicycle rides, river nautical activities in the immediate vicinity.
At the crossroads of the Vendée, the main tourist activities are easily accessible:
- Puy du Fou 25 min away
- Marais Poitevin 20 min away
- Atlantic Ocean 45 min away
- Mervent forest 20 min away
- La Roche-sur-Yon and Fontenay-le-Comte at 30 min

"LUXE CALME ET VOLUPTÉ"
Nous étions comme des coqs en pâte... dans un écrin de nature, de douceur et de paix.
Nous étions venus chercher du repos, nous y avons trouvé, en plus, le chant des oiseaux et d'un grillon qui nous souhaitaient tous les jours la bienvenue, la beauté de la région (Vouvant, Niort, Fontenay-le-Comte, Les Sables d'Olonne et sa mer, La Faute sur Mer... ainsi que tous les villages alentours) et l'extraordinaire accueil de nos hôtes. Un accueil amical, heureux, artistique, discret et serviable, tout cela dans un gîte confortable et d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons profité de la piscine, quel bonheur par ces grosses chaleurs ! Mille mercis. Nous retournerons à La Réorthe.

"Le calme à proximité de sites à visiter"
Un accueil chaleureux et agréable, un lieu paisible et très confortable, un lieu magique pour les enfants. Un site proche de nombreux endroits à découvrir avec un retour au calme au bord de la piscine.

"Excellent"
Nous avons passés 1semaine avec nos 4 petits enfants, le logement est bien adapté, la piscine un vrai plus pour les enfants, Françoise a partagé son art avec les enfants qui sont repartis avec leur œuvre d art...
