Nestled in the hills of Haut Razès, Laures, this farm located 1.5 km above the village of Escueillens, in the Aude, in the center of a triangle Limoux, Castelnaudary, Mirepoix, will bring you a moment of serenity, well being and expatriation.
It offers accommodation for 10 people.

This very bright space has 2 south-facing windows overlooking the garden and the pond, as well as a French window. In summer, the stone house keeps the rooms cool.
On the north side, a window opening onto the surrounding countryside and a French window opening onto a terrace and a courtyard, where in high heat, it is very pleasant to rest, read...

Upstairs, 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed each, and quality bedding, WC, bathroom, with views of the surrounding hills.
On request, 1 travel cot and a baby chair will be provided free of charge.
Outside, the garden is open to the countryside, the hills and an old pond with many fish and aquatic plants attract dragonflies, butterflies and swallows.

Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the trails, discovering the flora and wild fauna, the hilly landscape, and the uncrowded roads for beautiful hikes (GR7), or by mountain bike or VTC
all around the house, you can with your children, from the end of the afternoon, in the morning or in the evening, take beautiful walks on the very little frequented surrounding roads up to the limit of the watershed located at 600 m from the cottage, or on the trails.
In another part of the house, a tenant lives year-round. Very discreet, you may see it at the end of the day. It does not have access to the swimming pool which is strictly reserved for tenants.

From June and July, come and enjoy the long days from the beach on the deckchairs, admiring the variation of colors at nightfall, on the surrounding hills, at the appearance of the first stars lighting up in the sky, to the ballet of swallows, to the music of all the birds, deer, to the scents of hay.
At the end of summer, September and October offer visitors a whole new nature. The luminosity is more important because the heat is less intense. The animals discover themselves earlier, take advantage of the mild temperatures, serenity sets in, we would like to sleep outside as the temperatures are pleasant, and the little wind at this time.

2 steps from the house, is the watershed line (Laure side, the water goes towards the Mediterranean, on the opposite, the water flows towards the Atlantic Ocean).
The closest shops are in Belvèze du Razès, 7 km away: bakery, grocery store, tobacconist, press, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, physiotherapist.
The surrounding regional curiosities are numerous, the City of Carcassonne... the gastronomy, the terroirs.
