Gîte Denise - Le Mas de Paraloup

4 km from Vallon Pont d'Arc and 2 km from the village of Lagorce, you will find LE MAS DE PARALOUP bathing in the Mediterranean sun between vineyards, lavender and olive groves.

For 5 generations in the family, this 18th century Provençal farmhouse exudes the tranquility and gentleness of the South.

The cottage is classified ***, tastefully renovated offers peace and relaxation in an authentic setting.
It is behind the Mas that you find the gîtes "Denise" and "Louise". Facing west with a beautiful open view of the vineyards and the surrounding scrubland. An ideal place as a vacation spot for those who come for the tranquillity, breathtaking views, hiking and swimming in the impressive site of the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
If you take the time to observe nature while remaining silent, you may be able to see deer and wild boar. I had the pleasure of doing this experience several times!

Interior:
- Large studio apartment with living area and TV with DVD player, radio-CD player, sleeping area with 1 double bed (160x200cm), 1 junior single bed (80x180cm).
- Kitchen area with 3 gas and one electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and various small appliances.
- Bathroom with shower and wc.
- Cot, high chair, baby bath on request.
- Washing machine common to the whole Mas.

Exterior:
- Garden with garden furniture, parasol, American barbecue and sunbeds. Pretty unobstructed view of the scrubland and the hills in the distance dotted with a few fields of olive trees.

Unforgettable hikes and excursions will make you discover southern Ardèche and its intertwining of rivers. Swimming and relaxation under the midday sun, just a few minutes from the magnificent Gorges de l'Ardèche.

Sports and leisure: in a multi-faceted landscape, between Provence and the Cévennes you will find:
• canoeing (all levels), rafting, fishing and swimming in the Gorges de l'Ardèche. The small Ibie (paddling) river is ideal for small children.
• hiking: from the house, paths and ancient Roman roads crisscross a landscape of terraces imbued with charm, in the heart of a wild and fascinating nature.
• cycling and mountain biking between Ardèche and Cévennes.
• 300 caves, including the Grotte Chauvet and its cave paintings, the oldest known to mankind.
• horse riding ; we are surrounded by several equestrian centers, our favorite 'La Loubière' is 6 km from the Mas.
• tennis court in Lagorce and Vallon Pont d'Arc

Shops:
• Lagorce, 5 min by car and 30 min on foot offers 2 restaurants, a snack bar and a bread depot with baguettes, fresh croissants and newspapers!
• Vallon Pont d'Arc, 15 min by car, 1 hour on foot you will find bakeries, pastry shops, press (including international), cafes, several restaurants and supermarkets.

Antiquing: a pleasure that I would like to share with you.
Flea markets with a southern accent and the colors of the south!
Antiquing in the early morning on the village squares shaded by the foliage of the plane trees is one of my summer pleasures. I love these objects steeped in history that have a soul. I stroll in search of the 'treasure' that could embellish my Mas and its 4 lodgings.

Children :
• between the plum trees planted by my grandfather half a century ago, you find a playground with two and even three swings, a slide and a climbing rope.
• a pétanque court for all ages.
• Sandbox.
• swimming in the Ardèche and the small river Ibie (paddling) is ideal for small children.
