Spa Sauna Hiking trailsThe property is a restored traditional stone-built house in the village of Gresse en Vercors, near Grenoble (the capital of French Alps). It is a familly ski resort that shows and variety of terrain.
In the summer this is a tranquil retreat with great walks, plenty of activities, world class road cycling and mountain biking.
The chalet/house has spectacular views up to the highest peak of the well known Vercors.
Le Gite le cairn is located at 1,200 m, and is a delightful place with narrow winding streets, typical farmhouses and a quiet friendly atmosphere. It is a small peaceful village, and you certainly will not encounter rowdy youths in the street at night, or be kept awake by nightclub music.
Old farm, entirely renovated, composed of two gîtes with southeast exposure near ski lift (1 km). Ski resort with 20 lifts, 70 km of trails for Nordic ski, ski tours. National Ski School, paragliding, pony club, horse center, tennis, swimming pool, mountain bikes.
Located at 1200 m, 45 km south of Grenoble, direct motorway from Lyon to Grenoble and National road (N75) until Monestier de Clermont. Turn left and you will find Gresse en Vercors at 13 km.

Coming from Lyon or Paris, take the A43 to Grenoble then follow the Rocade sud, direction Sisteron RN75 or the faster motorway (allow 3 euros). Exit at Monestier de Clermont towards Gresse En vercors.
Turn right at the entrance to the village of Gresse en Vercors, leaving the church on your left, go down towards the town, pass the fire department on the left, the tourist office on the right, you will see many wooden chalets on your right, continue in the direction of the ski slopes at the top of the station, locate the bar Le Laupet, pass the Gite de France les Carlines on your right then turn right as soon as you see the cross and locate the house

"Una estancia perfecta!"
Hemos estado una semana en la Gite. El lugar es increíble con muchas posibilidades de actividades, excursiones, bici, un lago, parque de tirolinas, etc. La casa es muy acogedora, limpia y tiene todo lo que hace falta. La mesa de fuera es muy agradable para desayunar o cenar con unas vistas impresionantes al Vercors. Sin duda repetiremos!
