Hiking trails FishingIn the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, on the wild Cézallier plateau, at an altitude of 1200 m, a site with exceptional panoramas, renowned for its ancestral livestock fairs.
The hamlet of Brion Haut is located at the foot of an ancient feudal mound and offers a 360° panorama of the Cézallier and the Massif du Sancy.
Old typical farmhouse renovated with charm. Comfortable and warm cocoon combining wood and stone, ideal for a romantic stay.
Ideal location for rest or hiking: many marked trails starting from the gîte including the GR30 (Tour du Cézallier, Sagnes de la Godivelle Nature Reserve, Jassy, Lac de Montcineyre, etc.)
Come and watch the herds arrive in the summer pastures in the spring, discover landscapes covered with daffodils and then narcissi, the smell of mountain hay in June... the changes in colour of the peat bogs in the autumn or even observe the migratory birds passing through the Sensitive Natural Area of Lac de Bordes.
The gîte has land with a view of the Massif du Sancy and the surrounding summer pastures occupied by herds of Salers or Montbéliardes cows.
