The house is located in Burgundy 150 km from Paris, 25 km from Sens, 40 km from Chablis and 10 km from Champagne. Many tourist spots nearby: Tanlay Castles, Ancy le Franc, Maulnes, Pontigny Abbeys, Quincy and Fontenay, Saint-Bris, Guédelon Castle, Saint Fargeau Castle. The cities of Thunder, Auxerre, Joigny, Vezelay, Troyes, Dijon, Walnuts etc...

During the Second World War, the "DRUGER" farm was a mecca of local resistance. Located at the top of a hill, it supplied the maquisards hidden in the surrounding woods, and served as a meeting and exchange point for the resistance fighters. Mr. DRUGER, the master of the place at the time, sheltered and hid many American soldiers and resistance fighters, in the haystack.
