Our charming stone house is located in an old village with a 500 year old history, in the Dordogne Valley, between Bergerac and Sarlat. It offers the charm and authenticity of local architecture consisting of stone houses perched on the side of a sunny hill overlooking the small river La Couze that provided hydraulic power to many paper mills.
The interior of the house is warm and welcoming, with rustic elements that add character to each room.
It can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 kids)
It consists of:
- a kitchen/dining room
- an adjoining living room (with convertible sofa) separated by a vault and a double curtain
- of a room with a bed 2 people
- a small room in the attic with 2 single beds. (only for children; Height max 160 cm)
- a bathroom with WC
- a courtyard of 30 m2 with covered terrace, barbecue, deckchairs and bench.
You will enjoy the calm and serenity of the neighborhood while being close to the amenities of the village (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, bar/tobacco).
In the country of the bastides, on the border between Périgord Purple and Périgord Noir, you will be ideally located to discover the riches of the heritage, unique sanctuaries in the world, preserved nature, to enjoy various sports activities, swimming spots and to share the art of living in the Périgord.

"Appartement correct"
Logement difficile d'accès, rue très pentue. Approcher la voiture de la location est très compliqué et angoissant au regard de la largeur de la ruelle et des obstacles nombreux. J'ai bien cru que j'y laisserai un peu de peinture et de tôle. Autrement l'appartement est correct sans plus, très tranquille. Très bon accueil. Cour très sympa si soleil, idéale avec un petit chien. Globalement nous sommes assez satisfaits et nous pourrions envisager de revenir si l'avenir devait nous ramener dans la localité.

Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire. Il est vrai que la rue qui passe devant le gite est étroite, mais elle est à sens unique et nous l'empruntons régulièrement ainsi que les habitants du quartier sans encombre. Au plaisir de vous revoir.

"Une adresse à garder !"
Localisation idéale dans le Périgord noir, proche de Bergerac ! Activités nombreuses à proximité : superbe descente en canoë, adorable village de Limeuil (cherchez le glacier !), nombreux châteaux, bastides, cloîtres, grottes à visiter...
Petit gîte charmant et très bien équipé. Calme et avec plusieurs commerces (boulangeries, épicerie, restaurants...) à distance à pied.
Nous avons bcp apprécié les moments passés dans la cour/terrasse. On a pu en profiter une grande partie de la journée et en soirée.
Les propriétaires ont été très réactives à nos demandes et nous ont apporté des conseils personnalisés.

"Séjour parfait"
Gite plein de charme, très calme, tout confort très bien situé dans un petit village à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques. Super accueil de Sophie et Aurelie Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour au top
