TRAMONZAC is a small hamlet in the commune of BONNES, located in the South Charente in very close limit of the Périgord vert, in the beautiful valley of the Dronne.
The Dronne, a very fishy river, where several beaches are equipped, with many children's games, is the natural border that separates the Charente from the Dordogne. You can also discover this river by canoes or kayaks (rentals in Aubeterre, Parcoul, Ribérac ...)
Other activities available to you such as horse riding (riding school less than 1 km), mountain biking, tennis, golf, hiking, fishing ... and of course idleness!
The beach AUBETERRE, a few minutes away, is located at the foot of the old village which is ranked among the most beautiful in France. The monolithic church, very famous with its highest crypt in Europe, is one of the sites to discover.
Saint-Aulaye less than 4 km is a charming village that offers many water activities: a beautiful beach, a giant slide and its new municipal pool.
In this region crossed by the road to Santiago de Compostela, you can admire remarkable Romanesque churches with finely adorned façades. Thus those of Plassac, Barret, Aubeterre, Chalais, St Privat of close, St Aulaye ...
The neighboring Périgord offers many possibilities of visits: castles, caves, churches, traditional markets with foie gras and truffles and finally its famous gastronomy.

"Séjour en famille"
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis dans ce gite entouré d'un grand jardin clôturé. Pour 9 personnes nous avions le choix des chambres et des lits. La pièce à vivre est spacieuse mais nous avons préféré prendre nos repas sous la terrasse et autour du barbecue. Au calme mais près des commodités nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
