Jean-Yves' house, classified 2 stars, is located in the heart of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, in a historic district, a small authentic village at an altitude of 700 m in the Hautes-Pyrénées on the road to the Cirque de Gavarnie and all near the Col du Tourmalet.
This village offers its visitors a spectacular high mountain terroir.
It is surrounded by three ski areas: Luz-Ardiden (28 runs), Gavarnie (29 runs), and Barèges La Mongie (70 runs). These 3 stations are served by buses.
Sports enthusiasts will be satisfied: hiking (the GR 10 passes through Luz), canyoning, climbing, swimming... and heritage lovers will have the pleasure of visiting religious buildings, places and monuments such as the Château de Sainte- Marie, the Napoleon bridge, the thermal baths of Saint-Sauveur, the perched villages... And learn about the history of Napoleon III and Joséphine (weakened by the birth of Louis Napoleon, Joséphine hopes to recover her health by coming to take the waters at Saint- Saviour). Without forgetting the Gave de Gavarnie with all the freshness of the valley.
The house is pleasant and located on 3 levels. It offers you:
• on the ground floor: a hallway, a 10 m² bedroom with a 140 bed for 2 people, a bathroom with bathtub, a separate toilet and a cellar/ski room
• upstairs: a beautiful comfortable living room of 23 m² with a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, connected TV, a kitchen equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave , an extending table for 8 people.
• on the last level: a large bedroom of 15 m² with a double bed 140, and 2 small beds 90, a separate toilet equipped with a washbasin. It offers a breathtaking view of the Château de Luz through the skylights on the last level as well as of the Moustayou mountain at the back.
