Gîte au pied des Vosges

Spacious apartment located in the village of Metzeral, 6 km from Munster. Ideally located for hiking in the Vosges mountains, either on foot directly from the gîte (via the romantic paths of the Wormsa valley, passing by the Fischboedle and Schissrothried lakes), or by car.

Indeed the Route des Crêtes is accessible in less than a quarter of an hour. In good weather you can contemplate the Alps and the plain of Alsace and eat in the many farm inns where the famous marcaire meal is served.

The wine route with its wine villages and wine cellars begins 10 minutes from Metzeral.

For children many activities are offered:

Schnepfenried tree climbing, Markstein summer tobogganing, donkey rides in the village itself, farm visits with cheese-making demonstrations, the Munster swimming pool with its slides, waterfalls and wave pool .
A little further, the Haut-Kœnigsbourg castle, the eagle aviary, the monkey mountain, the otter park, the butterfly greenhouse, the ecomuseum, the automobile museum, the railway museum...

The Schnepfenried ski resort is only 15 minutes by car from the apartment.

For cycling enthusiasts, the cycle path is 50 m away.
