After a day of hiking or walking in the mountains, or even having discovered the Besse-en-Chandesse market and strolling through its medieval streets, our cottage welcomes you in the middle of lush greenery in the small village of Grouffaud, a few kilometers from Puy de Sancy and Lac Pavin.
A cottage combining tradition and modernity, allowing you to enjoy nature in all seasons - summer and winter.
At the end of the village (commune of Picherande - Puy-de-Dôme), this renovated and spacious farmhouse - around 90 m² - offers you tranquility and nature that will accompany you throughout your stay.
Able to accommodate 2 guests, your accommodation has a bedroom, a beautiful living room with very well equipped kitchen, as well as 1 bathroom and separate toilet.
In the evening, after a busy day, bask in the lounge, or, even better, take the local aperitif on the terrace facing nature.
For cooler evenings or in winter, warm up by a fire in the large stove-fireplace in the living room.
Even on vacation, you keep in touch with free wifi and landline.
Cats and Dogs welcome!
We really like our 4-legged friends who are welcome (cats and dogs allowed without supplements - only additional cleaning costs).
The 700 m² garden is fully enclosed for their safety. They can also take advantage of a shaded niche as well as a source to drink at will.
We will be happy to show you the most suitable hiking and walking tours authorized for dogs (with or without a leash).
You forgot his bed, his bowl or his food. No worries, we can surely help you out!
A carefree rental… everything is included! and even more services.
You arrive on vacation and simply put your luggage…

"Repos et prendre son temps"
gite ne manquant de rien (TV grand écran, wifi, etc..) très confortable (j'ai adoré la cheminé), notre hôte est très accueillant et aux petits soins pour nous et surtout pour nos animaux (très rare).
Le gite est isolé, mais très proche de Besse (très belle ville).
Les ballades sont nombreuse (lac de Pavin, cascades, etc...) et le paysage est un dépaysement total.

"Parfait !"
Super accueil avec crêpes pour nous et gourmandises à grignoter pour nos poilus ! Gite où il ne manque rien ! Région et balades magnifiques !

J ai passé une merveilleuse semaine au gîte avec deux amies et 7 chiens
Le gîte est vraiment confortable et spacieux, adapté à nos compagnons (espaces séparés, jardin clos, ….)
Il est situé au départ d un sentier très agréable.
En cas de mauvais temps nous sommes « comme à la maison « car les équipements sont nombreux et de qualité et de nombreux livres et jeux laissés à disposition nous permettent de nous détendre au coin du feu.

"Un vrai bonheur !"
Accueil très agréable et gourmand du propriétaire. La maison pleine de charme nous a beaucoup plu. Région superbe et malgré un temps incertain nous avons profité des promenades avec nos chiennes ravies de courir dans les sentiers et ruisseaux. Belle découverte !

"Gîte plus qu'à la hauteur !"
Séjour passé du 05 au 19 Août 2023 pour une 3ème année consécutive ! Un gîte au top un accueil tout aussi agréable que les fois précédentes. Des propriétaires fort sympathiques et toujours à l'écoute... un gîte très fonctionnel ont manque de rien tout comme comme a la maison.
Un dépaysement total... un calme 100% validé avec les sons de cloche des vaches 😂 ça nous manque ici d'ailleurs lol
Séjour très très apprécié par notre famille ainsi que nos 3 quatres pattes 🐕🐕🐕

"Super sejour"
Le lieu idéal pour passer des vacances avec ses compagnons à quatre pattes. Tout est organisé pour que la gestion de nos compagnons se passe bien. L'équipement du gite est au top: Le couchage est de très bonne qualité, l'équipement (lave vaisselle, lave linge refrigerateur et congelateur) nous donne le confort de nos residences habituelles. Le jardin clos avec la source et le coin repas en extérieur sont très agréables. Quant à la région alentour, ce sont les grandioses paysages d'Auvergne avec des sentiers de randonnées diversifiés dont le premier démarre à deux pas du gite. L'accueil de Monsieur Le Moing est super, il vous donne toutes les informations sur l'environnement du gite.

"Agréable séjour"
Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans votre gîte. Encore merci de nous avoir accepté avec nos 5 chiens. Tout était très bien : calme, randonnée à proximité, maison et jardin.

Un super logement hyper bien équipé. Un jardin clôturé donc top pour les chiens! Le logement est très bien situé à mi chemin entrée Besse et Super Besse. Je conseille vivement
