Located in the Hautes-Alpes, in the heart of the hamlet of Ponteil, at an altitude of 1500 m, on the southern slope of the Écrins massif, facing the Queyras, the Clos Katarhoun gîte welcomes you in an old house, restored with respect for its traditional architecture.
Flower garden under the windows of the rooms (old and botanical roses, flowers from the Alps and elsewhere)

The gîte, located on the lower level, has direct access to the natural meadow which surrounds the house and to the nearby forest (just a few steps from the large balcony)
It is therefore possible to eat outside under the large lime tree or under the old apple tree.

Le Ponteil is at the end of the paved road, which gives access by the track or by paths to the mountain pastures and to many hikes without taking your car.

Superb climbing site also located nearby.
