The Coig de Lamothe gite is a fully renovated farm gite of 120 m², located on the heights of the Barétous valley in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

This cottage is located on the heights, so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village, neighboring villages and our beautiful mountains.

The house is composed as follows:
• on the ground floor
- a large hallway with storage
- a fully equipped kitchen: induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Tassimo, filter coffee maker, fridge freezer
- a living / dining room with flat screen, DVD player, sofa, armchair
- a bathroom on the ground floor with shower, WC and washing machine

• the floor serves 3 large bedrooms and a bathroom:
- a bedroom with three single beds, one of which is bunk with a wardrobe
- 2nd bedroom: a 160x200 bed and a convertible sofa bed for 2 people, cupboard and wardrobe and a television
- 3rd bedroom: a 140x190 bed with cupboard
- a second bathroom with sink, shower, toilet, hair dryer and storage

The cottage is equipped with a high chair, a baby bath, a travel cot, toilet reducer, a potty to best accommodate the little ones.

The beds will be made upon your arrival!

As for the bathroom linen, it can be rented 6 € / per person.

During your stay, you can enjoy an outdoor area with a terrace and a garden area.

In addition, at the Coig de Lamothe gîte, you will find many hiking trails starting from the house, with breathtaking views of the valley.

Nearby: less than 5 minutes by car are the amenities (doctor, bakery, Intermarché, gas station, pharmacy, restaurants, playground, river, etc.)

Our cottage is located 29 km from Pierre Saint Martin and 24 km from Issarbe where you can ski in winter (downhill and cross-country skiing but also enjoy the toboggan run for the little ones), and in summer , mountain activities (such as summer tobogganing, mountain biking, archery, etc.)

The cottage is located less than 1h45 from the Basque coast.
And less than 1h30 from Spain.

Because of its geographical location you can have access to many walks such as the Chemin de la Mature, the Holzarte footbridge, the Kakuetta gorges, the Verna caves.

Notice to fishermen you will find many rivers and streams.

For sports enthusiasts, take advantage of the mountainous roads with in particular the climb of Pierre St Martin, the Marie Blanque pass but also beautiful mountain bike rides.

Possibility to lend you two basic adult bikes.

Rental from 2 nights minimum.
Possibility to rent at the weekend or at the week and to adapt the price according to the season.
Cottage for 8 people maximum.
Tourist tax: 0.80 € / day / person
Cleaning fee billed according to the length of the mandatory stay.
A deposit of 300 €.
Pets are not allowed.
Arrival: 4:00 p.m. / departure: 10:00 a.m.
